The DEQ Clerk is located in the Legal Affairs Division, Legal Section, and receives the following types of requests:
- Adjudicatory Hearing Requests
- Confidentiality Requests
- Declaratory Ruling Requests
Please send all requests to the attention of the "DEQ Clerk." Requests can be mailed, faxed with an original following by mail, or hand-delivered. If you need a date-stamped copy for your records, please mail or hand-deliver the appropriate number of copies (along with a self-addressed stamped envelope for those requests submitted by mail).
For those requests that are hand-delivered, please see the Security guard located on the 1st floor of the Galvez Building and let them know that you need to file a document with the Legal Affairs Division. The DEQ Clerk, or designated legal staff member, will come to meet you and will date-stamp your document(s) and receive it for filing. Due to the time sensitive nature of the requests, please do not place the documents in the drop-box.
