COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT
The ENVIROSCHOOL for communities training program is a series of training sessions designed to educate communities and encourage meaningful participation in the regulatory process. The goal is for communities to become informed and skilled on how to access and utilize informational resources.
Training sessions will focus on a series of regulatory topics including: Environmental Regulations & Standards 101, Access 101, Public Participation 101 and Permits 101. Please view the full ENVIROSCHOOL schedule below for more information on the sessions.

Access 101: Navigating DEQ:
This session will introduce you to the basics of navigating through the resources that DEQ has available. You will become familiar with several operations used to retrieve information and data including:
- accessing records using the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS)
- making a public records request
- identifying Agency Interest Numbers (AI)
- Locating data on individual DEQ pages
