The Enviroschool program at the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality (LDEQ) is the environmental education outreach arm of the Agency that provides training for communities, businesses, and other organizations on a number of regulatory topics. The goal of this program is for the attendees to become informed about the environmental regulatory process and to maintain and improve environmental compliance. These workshops are open to the public. If you are interested, please feel free to register for any of our workshops that are posted below or contact us if you would like additional information.
2012 SESSIONS
PRETREATMENT WORKSHOP-FEBRUARY 9, 2012-BATON ROUGE
Since many Louisiana municipalities will likely be unable to attend EPA’s annual Region VI Pretreatment Workshop to be held in Albuquerque, NM on July 23 – 26, 2012, the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality will hold a Pretreatment Workshop to assist municipalities on February 9, 2012 from 9:00 A.M-3:00 P.M. This workshop is intended for municipalities and POTW operators that are required to implement a Pretreatment Program in accordance with LAC 33:IX.Subpart 2.Chapter 61. Participants will receive 4 LDHH Wastewater CEU’s for attending. Please register online by selecting the Online Registration button below.
