NOTICE FOR DEBRIS SITES REOPENING.  Any local government or state agency intending to reopen a vegetative hurricane debris site after a closure assessment has been conducted, for either FEMA approved contracts for Private Property Debris Removal (PPDR), the NRCS approved project for the removal of hurricane debris from state waters, or for any other reason, must notify the Department.  Please contact Traci Green at 225-219-3043 or email traci.gren@la.gov

 We are making all efforts to anticipate and plan for problems associated with the Hurricanes, and expedite the resolution of those problems. If you anticipate issues please contact us ASAP.  We will place the issue in the hands of our subject matter experts and will move as quickly as possible to resolve the issue.  This page will consist of news releases, emergency orders, waivers, variances, and provide other regulatory information.
