Tegan Blades Treadaway, Administrator

The Air Permits Division (APD) within the Office of Environmental Services is responsible for preparing the following types of air permits:
●     Part 70 (Title V) Operating
●     General Part 70 (Title V) Operating
●     Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD)

●     Nonattainment New Source Review (NNSR)

●     State (Minor Source)

●     State (Minor Source) General Permits

●     Acid Rain (Title IV)

●     Clean Air Interstate Rule (CAIR)

●     Regulatory

The APD also handles a number of other actions, including requests for administrative amendments, authorizations to construct, changes of tank service, Emission Reduction Credit (ERC) certificates, exemptions to test, small source exemptions, and variances.  See the Permits Procedures Manual for a more thorough description of these documents.

Also within the APD is the Emissions Reporting and Inventory Center (ERIC).  This broad area includes management of emissions information that is reported directly to the DEQ by industry. Discreet program areas include the ERIC system which consolidated reporting under both the old EI and TEDI systems. Here you can view historical EI and TEDI reports, and get information about the EPA's National Air Toxics Assessment (NATA) Report. You can also access Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) resources that include EPA's website and archived Louisiana TRI Reports.
