About us
 The Laboratory Services Division operates the largest state owned environmental laboratory in Louisiana. The laboratory conducts and oversees all of the chemical analyses and analytical testing activities for the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality. The laboratory is a "2007 National Laboratory of Excellence." It is accredited by the National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Conference Institute (TNI). The division is also home to the Louisiana Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (LELAP), one of only 13 accreditation bodies recognized by The NELAC Institute (TNI).
