Rob Thomas
Thomas joined the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality in 1998 and currently serves as Administrator of the Waste Permits Division in the Office of Environmental Services. He received a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Delta State University and a Master of Science in Environmental Science from McNeese State University. He has 12 years of Supervisory / Management experience involving Waste Permits (solid waste, hazardous waste & waste tires) in addition to his initial 8 years as an Environmental Scientist (solid waste permitting) with the Department. He also has several years of experience working with the Clean Water State Revolving Fund, administered by the Department.
