Village of Natchez receives $540,000 in Clean Water funding for wastewater system improvements

With assistance from LDEQ, the Village of Natchez in Natchitoches Parish will be soon be addressing long-standing issues with its waste water system. On Friday, March 4, LDEQ Secretary Dr. Chuck Carr Brown presented Village of Natchez Mayor Rosia Humphery with a facsimile check represented a $540,000 loan through the Clean Water State Revolving Loan Fund managed by LDEQ. The loan was closed Feb. 18.
