Mission
The Northeast Louisiana Regional Office serves Caldwell, East Carroll, Franklin, Jackson, Lincoln, Madison, Morehouse, Ouachita, Richland, Tensas, Union, West Carroll, and Winn parishes. Covering a wide stretch of Louisiana’s northeast corner, the office is positioned to address the unique environmental challenges of both rural communities and growing towns. Staff in the Northeast Regional Office carry out facility inspections, respond to citizen concerns, and monitor environmental releases to safeguard local health and natural resources. With its broad reach across farmland, river systems, and small cities, the office provides consistent oversight and ensures that environmental standards are upheld throughout the region.Casey Head
Regional ManagerReceived a Bachelor of Science degree in Toxicology from Northeast Louisiana University and a Master’s of Science degree in Biology from Louisiana Tech University. Since joining LDEQ in 1997, he has worked in Surveillance Division as an inspector, supervisor and now manager except a two year stint in Toxicology Section.
