The Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality (LDEQ) maintains all of its environmental rules and regulations within the Louisiana Administrative Code (LAC), the official compilation of the state’s administrative law. Within the LAC, LDEQ’s regulations are organized into clear, topic‑specific sections that cover a wide range of environmental media and program areas—including air quality, water resources, waste management, remediation, and general administrative requirements. This structure allows residents, businesses, and regulated entities to easily locate the standards and procedures that apply to their activities while ensuring transparency and consistency across all environmental programs.
