Agency Report Series

Permit Watch - Permit Status

This report provides a complete list of all permit applications that have been filed with the agency but have not yet received a final decision. Each entry identifies the applicant, the location of the proposed activity, and the type of permit being requested. The report also includes the date the application was received, along with company details and permit type information. By posting this report, the agency ensures transparency and makes it easy for the public, businesses, and community members to track pending permit actions and stay informed about environmental compliance.

Landfill Capacity Reports

LDEQ prepares a solid waste capacity report every two years for submission to the Legislature in accordance with Louisiana Revised Statutes.

Annual Recycling Report

The Louisiana Revised Statutes 30:2413.A.9 requires LDEQ to submit an Annual Recycling Report to the House Committee on Natural Resources and Environment and the Senate Committee on Environmental Quality on the status of resource recovery and recycling programs in the parishes and municipalities throughout the state.

Reports to agency - Hazardous Waste

Hazardous Waste Reporting

Louisiana requires annual reporting for permitted hazardous waste treatment, storage, and disposal facilities. The report documents the types and quantities of hazardous waste they generated and how it was managed. Additionally, the facility must include any other reports as required by their permit in accordance with LAC 33:V.1529.D. The report is due by March 1 of every year and covers activities from the previous calendar year.

Large Quantity Generator and Hazardous Waste Pharmaceutical Annual Report

Louisiana requires annual reporting for hazardous waste Large Quantity Generators, and facilities managing hazardous waste pharmaceuticals (healthcare facilities managing non-creditable hazardous waste pharmaceuticals and reverse distributors). These annual reports document the types and quantities of hazardous waste they generated and how it was managed. The report is due by March 1 of every year and covers activities from the previous calendar year.

Hazardous Secondary Materials and Used Oil Biennial Reports

Facilities that manage Hazardous Secondary Materials or a processor/re-refiner of used oil are required to submit a Biennial Hazardous Waste Report every two years, documenting the types and quantities of hazardous waste they generated and how it was managed. The report is due by March 1 of every even‑numbered year and covers activities from the previous two calendar years.

No Alternatives to Deepwell Injection Annual Report

Facilities that have received a No Alternatives to Land Disposal of Prohibited Waste by Deepwell Injection (No Alternatives Determination) are required to submit an annual report by March 1 every year. The report should describe in detail the efforts undertaken during the preceding calendar year to identify any economically reasonable and environmentally sound alternatives to disposal into an injection well for any hazardous waste injected on site in accordance with LAC 33:V.2273.D.

Reports to Agency - Solid Waste

Certification of Compliance

Solid waste permitted facilities are required to annual submit a Certification of Compliance. The Certification of Compliance confirms that a facility is operating in accordance with all applicable permit conditions and regulatory requirements. The Certification of Compliance (annual report) is due by October 1 of each year covering the previous state calendar year (July 1st through June 30th.

Industrial Waste Generator Annual Report

The Industrial Solid Waste Generator Annual Report is due August 1 for the previous reporting year (July 1st through June 30th). This report is required to document the types and amounts of waste produced each year, ensuring proper oversight, regulatory compliance, and responsible waste management.

Non-Processing Transfer Station Annual Report

A non‑processing transfer station annual report is required to ensure accurate tracking of the solid waste received, recycled, and shipped off site, allowing regulators to verify compliance and maintain proper oversight of facility operations. This report is to be submitted to the address above no later than August 1 following the end of each reporting year.

Beneficial Use Plan Annual Report

Facilities that manage materials under a beneficial use plan (LAC 33:VII.1105), must submit an annual report. The annual report for beneficial-use facilities covers activities for the period beginning July 1st and ending June 30th of each year. This report shall be submitted by August 1st following the end of each reporting year.

On-site Disposal Facilities

This construction/demolition debris facilities receives only wastes that have been generated on-site as described in LAC 33: VII.305.A.4 or woodwaste facilities receives only waste generated by the owner of the property on which this facility is located as described in LAC 33: VII.305.A.8. The annual report for these facilities covers activities for the period beginning July 1st and ending June 30th of each year. This report shall be submitted by August 1st following the end of each reporting year.

Reports to Agency - Waste Tires

Waste Tire Generator and Motor Vehicle Dealer Monthly Reports

Waste Tire Generators and Motor Vehicle Dealers are required to submit monthly reports to LDEQ by the 20th day of the month for the previous month's sales. The report is report is required to document the the number of tires or vehicles sold along with the amount of waste tire fees collected and remitted to the Waste Tire Management Dedicated Fund Account.

Waste Tire Collection Center Monthly Reports

Waste Tire Collection Facilities are required to submit monthly reports to LDEQ by the 15th day of the month. The report is report is required to document the number of waste tires received by the collection facility.

Reports to Agency - Recycling

Annual Recycling Report

LDEQ collects and compiles submitted information and data provided by parishes and municipalities on resource recovery and recycling programs in their area under La. R.S. 30:2413. The information is then submitted annually to the Louisiana House Committee on Natural Resources and Environment and the Louisiana Senate Committee on Environmental Quality.

Materials Measurement Program

The implementation of this new program assessment and planning tool will streamline the measurement of material management programs and to provide parishes, municipalities, and recycling collection centers with decision-making tools that can improve recycling program performance. By participating in the program, participants will gain access to key insights about the performance of their programs and discover opportunities to build more efficient solid waste and recycling programs.
