DEQ offers statewide workshops on nonpoint source pollution

- Are you familiar with nonpoint source pollution? Do you know what it is, how it affects you and what you can do about it? If not, the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality is sponsoring four free training sessions on nonpoint source pollution for communities, businesses and interested parties. These sessions, held around the state, will provide an overview of nonpoint source pollution and what DEQ does to identify and reduce it. Each session will also provide information on education and outreach. The sessions are free, so register and learn more about it.
