DEQ to host free training sessions on air permitting

Baton Rouge, Mar 11, 2014 - DEQ will host four free training sessions across the state on Air Permitting 201: Understanding the Details. These sessions will provide more in depth information on air permitting in Louisiana. Participants will learn how the air regulations apply to the development of a permit. Specific examples will be discussed and will cover samples of each typical document included in the permits.

The sessions will be held:

• Baton Rouge – Thursday, March 27 - 10 am to 12 pm
  Galvez Building – DEQ Headquarters
  Pensacola Room

• Pineville – Thursday, April 3 - 10 am to 12 pm
  Tudor Community Center
  341 Bragg Street, Pineville
• Lake Charles – Thursday, April 10 - 10 am to 12 pm 
  LSU AgCenter
  7101 Gulf Highway, Lake Charles
• New Orleans Area – Wednesday, April 16 – 10 am to 12 pm 
  Jefferson Parish Library, Napoleon Room
  4747 West Napoleon Avenue, Metairie
